Circa 1900. An exhibition quality Sheraton style bow fronted ladies desk, the top with multiple inlays with a large arc of various inlays and broad banding framed by boxwood, the front with a bow fronted drawer flanked by a pair of shorter rectangular drawers, with flamed panel in the center framed with string inlay with canted corners, the drawers retain the original brass circular handles with octagonal back plates all are lined in oak, beneath the bow front drawers there are inlay quarter brackets, all resting on four square tapering legs with string and checkered inlay, finishing on a stylish spayed toe. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
