    This is a beautiful set of oak and elm Windsor dining chairs in the stick back design consisting of two carvers and four singles with a gorgeous colour and great patina. The carvers have the early features of crook underarm supports and a crinoline stretcher uniting the legs. The back hoop, arms and crinoline stretcher are made of oak wood and the comfortable saddle shaped seat is made from elm. Their beautiful golden colour is very rich and hopefully you can see this in the photos. Being of oak and with the crinoline stretchers make this a good quality set and a bit different to the usual.

     
    It is difficult to date when these were made as there is no maker's stamp.
     
    MEASUREMENTS
     
    Carvers: Height - 104 cm Seat height - 44.5 cm Depth of seat - 45 cm Width across front of the seat - 51 cm
    Chairs: Height - 92 cm Seat height - 43 cm Depth of seat - 42 cm Width across front of the seat - 43.5 cm
     
    CONDITION
     
    There have been no repairs to any of the chairs and they are all in good sturdy condition. As with all antique and vintage products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
