This is a lovely set of eight French Country oak spindleback chairs with rush seats. They came from the Northern area of France. The chairs have a design which comes from a spindle shape on the back rest to the seat. The legs are gracefully curved with turned feet. They have stretchers from the front to the back. The color is a rich dark brown oak with a warm patina.
