Circa 1810, Scottish George III mahogany chest of drawers. The rectangular top has a stylish double ogee moulded fore edge. The front of the chest has two turned columns/pilasters with roundel tops, continue down to finish on a small turned foot. The chest has a configuration of two short over three further long graduating drawers with wonderful matching flame mahogany veneers, circular cast brass ring handles and simple stylish escutcheons. Beneath the bottom drawer is a moulding identical to the top. The chest is very stylish with great colour and patination.
