This attractive suite has a solid frame with a good weight and is of very good quality. It dates from around 1930 and is very comfortable. It has attractive scrolled arms with the walnut detail around them. The fabric is in good condition, although may benefit from a steam clean - please ask for details. There is no wear on the suite generally apart from a few small holes/wear on the back edge and some cat scratch marks. However, I think with or without a clean this sofa is still very usable and would suit a period property. The current fabric is gold in colour with attractive self coloured ferns and leaves. If you are interested in having it reupholstered then we would be happy to do this for you and can supply you with samples from our wide range of beautiful fabrics.
