A well proportioned mahogany Regency period writing table, this has a crossbanded top with a replaced tooled green leather insert. This table has a kneehole front with 24” of clearance in the centre which allows for ease of sitting and working. The front has the appearance of having five drawers but in fact these open as three usefully sized oak lined drawers. The condition and original colour of this table are excellent. Sizes: 37”(94cms) wide, 20(51cms) deep, 30 ½ “(78(cms) high. Date circa 1815.
