This fine Regency period card table is a beautiful example of late Georgian style and craftsmanship.
The top is veneered with flame figured georgian mahogany, and framed with a crossbanded border of rosewood edged on both sides with boxwood stringing. This is repeated on the facing edges of both leaves. The frieze has a delicately inlaid design of fine rosewood lines and trifoliate decoration, set within fine figured mahogany veneer.
The legs are well turned, and tapered with a reeded design, finishing with elegant teardrop shaped feet.
When open, 36 inches x 36 inches. 28 inches high.
