Circa 1820. Neat-sized, Regency rosewood open bookcase, possibly Scottish with lovely colour and patina. The breakfront top in figured Brazilian rosewood, surmounted by a central shelf on turned supports with a low neoclassical carved back and flanked by carved corners. With a simple frieze with beading, over the three bookcase sections with beaded bookshelves, separated by pilasters with neoclassical carved capitals. All supported on a breakfront enclosed plinth base.
