Circa 1870, good pair of Victorian carved oak hall chairs. The heraldic shaped back is carved out of solid quarter sawn oak, and has foliate carving and scrolling at the bottom. The seat is also solid and tapering, with a slightly rounded edge. The front legs are turned and tapering, and the back legs are square and outswept. Excellent colour and condition.
