Circa 1850, pair of Regency period mahogany framed, bergere armchairs. The curved and shaped top rail have scrolled ears and slope down to form acanthus carved scrolled arms on scrolled supports. The serpentine-front seats have removable, buttoned squab cushions and are raised on hexagonal front and outswept rear supports with brass castors.
