Circa 1810, pair of late George III mahogany dining chairs. The chairs have an elongated curved top rail with a raised flame mahogany panel. This is supported by two ribbed uprights and a stylish cruciform section with a carved flower head in the centre. The seats have drop in pads and at the back is an unusual panel carved into the flat section. All standing on square tapering legs at the front which are slightly splayed, and out swept back legs, united by stretchers. Good colour and character. The chairs are sturdy and could be re-upholstered.
