    These are a beautiful pair of top quality rosewood salon or bedroom chairs

     
    They are Regency / William IV period, about 1830 in date.
    Condition - Excellent and very comfortable. Very well upholstered, the top fabric could easily be changed if required. They are clean and well cared for.
     
    The frames are solid rosewood and were clearly made by a master craftsman.
    They demonstrate a beautifully balanced and shapely design, with a fully upholstered high back and fabulously shaped and carved show wood frames.
    The cabriole legs are short and squat, and again have been carefully conceived to present a balanced appearance with a low centre of gravity - akin to early Georgian chairs of quality.
     
    Dimensions: 36" high, 18" wide, depth 19".
    Seat height - 18" seat depth 14"
