This is a pair of antique side plates. An English, ceramic decorative cake plate or saucer, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Charming Victorian ceramics with pleasingly decorated finish
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Quality ceramic with light yellow wash, enhanced with pale orange blush
- Gilt painted border accentuates the flared quarterfoil rim
- Each plate resplendent with foliate bouquet pattern
- Maker's mark to rear for Royal Worcester of England
- Date cypher surrounding the mark denotes 1896 - 3 dots on the left, 2 to the right
This is a fascinating pair of antique side plates, with pleasing foliate detail and subtle colour palette. Delivered polished and ready to enjoy.
