This is a pair of antique decorative tool rests. A Continental, brass and copper fireside stand in the Grand Tour taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1860.
- Beautifully ornate and of superb quality, perfect for the grand fireplace setting
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Warm copper hues and golden brass tones beam from a lightly polished finish
- Small urn finials repeat the gadrooned finish of the central support
- Framed by wide tool rests with scrolled flourishes to the stanchions
- Raised upon a tapering circular foot, adorned with relief leaf patterns
