Between the wars (1919-39) sideboard. Would have been thick brown varnish finish originally. Good Mahogany top given new polish to let lovely grain show through, while the body has been painted with Farrow & Ball James White Paint. Has original zinc lined wine cooler in one cupboard.

Shop opened in 1964 by Joe Hartley, in a former C.1670 coaching inn. Company formed in 1973. Mainly, English furniture, 1700-1945, Mahogany, Oak, Walnut, Fruitwood, etc. Bureau, bookcases, tables, chairs, cupboards, etc. Also Mirrors, prints & some small items. LAPADA member. Deirdre Geer has a room here, selling mirrors, fabrics & "shabby chic" items. Also a cabinet maker & a polisher who can do repairs. Ripley is 2 miles from the A3/M25 junction. Joe Hartley sadly passed away in October 2015. The shop is now run by his son, John Hartley.
