Fine quality pair Chippendale style mahogany torcheres with octagonal tops having pierced fretted galleries, on plain turned columns with well carved tripod bases. Superb un-touched condition and lovely colour. These are late 19th. century copies of 18th. century torcheres. Probably made by Whylie and Lockhead of Glasgow. Circa 1880.
