Circa 1860, large solid oak and leather button back library chair. With a rectangular back in light burgundy leather, deep buttoned and 2 shaped arms held in place by uprights. The large solid oak seat is scooped out and shaped to give an elegance to the chair. The sides of the seat are serpentine, with square, tapering back legs, slightly out swept. The front legs are bulbous, turned and tapering and united by stylish and shaped stretchers, finishing at the back with a brass and porcelain castor and at the front with a brass cup and a metal castor.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
