Circa 1870. A quality carved oak two door Jacobean style robe, with a stylish and elegant moulded cornice with a frieze with carved arches and intersected by further foliate carving. A pair of full-length doors with short panels on the top and elongated panels beneath, the doors have plamished metal hinges, escutcheon and a shaped clasp. Inside the wardrobe there is uninterrupted hanging and a brass rail with hooks above, the gables have twin panels, with all of the peg joints invisible on the facings. Beneath the door at the bottom there is further mouldings and the robe rests on four squat bun feet.
