Circa 1900, oak foldover card table probably by Morison & Co Edinburgh. The solid oak rectangular top has rounded front corners, and is hinged opening to reveal a baize interior. There is an apron below which has a slight shape in the centre. The tops of the legs have carvings in the form of paper folds. The back legs are hinged and have a double action mechanism which pulls out, and underneath is a tray which pulls out and locks the leg in position and makes the table quite sturdy. The legs are chamfered with ribbed carving and recesses, and finish without castors or toes. Two others available. Excellent condition.
