nest of 3 mahogany tables by john taylor & sons

Circa 1900, nest of 3 mahogany tables by John Taylor & Sons of Edinburgh. The bow fronted solid tops have a carved fore edge of crossover flower heads and lozenge type bars at the front. The tables stand on four elegant square legs which are slightly tapering and have outswept feet. There are rectangular stretchers on the top and the bottom to give the tables sturdiness. All three tables are in good condition. The smallest of the tables has a makers label underneath for ‘John Taylor & Sons, Edinburgh Ltd’ and underneath the number 3 above X276 which probably refers to a pattern number.
