Circa 1770. Late 18th Century Dutch, bombe-front serpentine mahogany chest of drawers. The serpentine front in a beautifully figured Spanish mahogany with moulded edge above three graduated bombe-front drawers in mirror matched flame mahogany with original quality cast brass rococo escutcheons and handles with original steel locks and crosscut oak drawer linings and back. The canted corners with open cast brass mounts and brass sabots on the bracket feet. In exceptional condition with a lovely deep rich colour.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
