large oak backless dresser

Circa 1880 and later, a large oak backless dresser. The solid oak top has simple rounded corners and over a configuration of 3 drawers with brass knob handles and a stylish beading on the facing. Beneath this is a simple apron and the dresser stands on 4 square legs. Halfway down is a pot board which is cut around the legs and has a simple design carved on the end of the shelf. This is held in place by a solid oak strap which is its apron. The whole piece has good colour and patination, functional and very sturdy.
