jacobean style carved oak monks bench

Circa 1920, Jacobean style carved oak monks bench or hall bench. The folding top with has lunette carvings to the top and foliate carvings within the arches and below this, all supported on shaped arms by twin baluster columns. The lifting seat has generous storage underneath and a panelled front with further arcaded and foliate carvings, before finishing on a plinth with bracket feet.
