Circa 1920, Jacobean style profusely carved and panelled oak lowboy. The solid oak rectangular top is chamfered underneath, and below this is one long drawer formed with fielded panels to look like two individual drawers with cast brass handles. To the left and right are turned columns which have been split to give the impression of pilasters. There is a very stylish apron with open carved fretwork in the Rococo style. The sides and back are polished and on the back is a makers label. The whole piece stands on turned and tapering legs with a shaped cross over section with a small dish section in the centre, on slightly carved raised feet. Excellent colour and wonderful patination.
