Circa 1860 (with older needlepoint seat circa 1775), Irish George II style mahogany open armchair, the serpentine top rail over a pierced splat carved with acanthus leaves and centred by a shell motif, above a needlework upholstered seat flanked by scrolling arms and hand holds, above a scroll carved seat rail raised on shell carved cabriole legs ending in hairy paw feet.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
