This is a contemporary, bespoke, handmade and very large Victorian style marquetry dining table & chair set.It comprises a burr walnut dining room table with marquetry decoration that can be personalised with your own family crest, company logo or motif or indeed any customised decoration that you may wish to have. The marquetry dining table is supplied with a set of eighteen matching chairs.
The large dining table is made from burr walnut which has a typically intricate and beautiful grain. This has been embellished by the addition of fine quality inlaid marquetry decoration depicting urns, flowers, ribbons, various birds and a selection of vases.
These hand cut inlaid marquetry decorations are all made from a range of different veneers, each with a different colour. In order to highlight the marquetry, and the natural grain of the burr walnut, this fine table has been expertly French polished by craftsmen using that oldest of tools - their hands.
Make it truly yoursThe unique feature of this large dining table & chair set is that it can be customised to include marquetry decoration of your own specification. You may have a family coat of arms or crest that you would like to incorporate, or perhaps you are buying on behalf of a business or other organisation which would like to feature their logo, motif or other imagery.

Variable sizes to suit all occasionsIf you need to seat up to 18 people then this is the table for you.
You would have to fit the four expansion leaves, which are added or removed as required to suit the occasion by means of a double winding mechanism.
Alternatively, if the occasion is more modest, the table can be used with fewer or none of the leaves added.
To provide stability and strength, the table stands on six elegantly carved legs which are terminated with brass cap castors to facilitate ease of movement.
The ChairsThe table is supplied with matching set of eighteen chairs complement it perfectly and comprises sixteen side chairs and a pair of armchairs.
These chairs are made of solid walnut and also feature burr walnut and marquetry decoration which matches the table perfectly. This decoration can also be personalised at extra cost. Another interesting feature of these chairs is that the drop in seats can be easily removed to reveal the cooler cane seats below which can be used in warmer weather.
