This is a grand antique executive desk. An English, satinwood and mahogany 13 drawer office desk, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.

• Exceptional quality and proportion to this superb Victorian desk
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
• Satinwood stocks present striking grain interest and rich russet hues
• Graced with thirteen exceptional quality, thick mahogany drawer boxes

• Charming arcading adorns the upper drawer section with shelf to centre
• Usefully sized desktop with gently tiered edge moulding
• Front fascia hosting three drawers with carved foliate relief decoration
• Each pedestal with a further three drawers and dashing leaf corbel mounts over fluted stiles

• Each drawer dressed with brass drop handles over shaped, pierced backplates
• Nine lower drawers secured by matched and working brass-lined locks — key present
• Quality finish to the back, with full panelling
• The whole raised upon a pair of continuous plinth feet
