A good quality walnut French window seat with Irish linen upholstery circa 1880. This lovely and rare window seat is constructed from solid carved walnut having shaped hand supports with the whole being untied by a shaped and reeded stretcher. The seat has been reupholstered in a light grey Irish linen and the frame has been restored using traditional methods having a good faded walnut colour. A very attractive window seat / stool.
