Circa 1920’s, a George II style walnut and crossbanded bachelor’s chest, the hinge rectangular top, crossbanded edge and elegant but simple fore-edge, to the front 2 lopers to support the open top, finished with brass axe head drops, a configuration of 4 drawers, graduating from top to bottom, and have elegant swan neck handles with a pierced solid back plate, beneath the bottom drawer there is further moulding and the whole piece rests on 4 squat chunky bracket feet.
