Circa 1820, George IV circular rosewood occasional table. The table top with its nicely figured rosewood, rosewood cross banded edge and apron with its fore-edge also veneered in rosewood. Beneath the top is a block on which the stem of the table stands which is connected to a platform base. The platform base has 4 concave sections and rosewood veneered sides. The whole piece stands on 4 squat but elegant beech feet, simulated to look like rosewood.
