    Antique George IV Mahogany Tilt Top Large Dining Table c1825

    LARGE CIRCULAR MAHOGANY BREAKFAST DINING TABLE

     
    A fine heavy quality period breakfast or dining table.
    It is made in mahogany and dates to around 1825 - to the reign of George IV.
    The table is very elegant. It stands on a triform base with a turned and finely carved central column.
    It has the original scroll carved feet and concealed brass castors.
    The table top is circular with a deep apron in flame mahogany.
    The table tips up and locks in to the down position solidly.
     
    A very well proportioned and elegant table that will seat up to eight people comfortably.
    The great thing about flip up tables is that they make most use of your space and can also be flipped up and stored pushed against a wall out of the way.
    These style of tables are very good for elegant intimate entertaining.
     
    The table is in very good condition - see photos.
     
    The table splits for moving. (Top comes off.)
     
    The table is 136.4cm in diameter
    and is 73cm high.
