Circa 1920, George IV style mahogany Pembroke table. With a solid mahogany top, flat fore-edge, and 2 D-shaped flaps which are held in place by 3 hinges. Beneath there are 2 stained pull out arms on each of the leaves, to give the leaf stability when open. A single drawer to one end has 2 brass knobs which are elaborately embossed in the form of a flower head, with a ribbed finial in the centre. The whole table stands on 4 simple but elegant turned, bulbous and tapering legs which finish on a raised turned toe. The ring turn just above the toe has been slightly ebonised to give it a good contrast.
