Circa 1820, Scottish George IV mahogany fold over tea table. With a rounded front, cross-banded fore-edge and ebonised inlay above a flame mahogany apron with beaded fore-edge. The top is hinged, opening to reveal a felt lined interior, and it is connected to the legs by an urn-shaped block. The reeded, sabre legs feature acanthus leaves to their tops and finish on realist animal paw feet with brass castors beneath.
