Circa 1800, Quality George III Scottish inlaid mahogany linen press. The moulded cornice is over a simple cross banded frieze with beading and it has twin panelled doors in flame Spanish mahogany with boxwood and ebony string inlay and cross banding within a beaded frame. The interior has its original mahogany and ash lined shelves. The base has two short and two long ash lined (a sign of quality Scottish cabinetmaking) with the later addition of shaped brass handles, all over an ebonised and shaped skirt and original French bracket feet.
