Circa 1790, good George III mahogany partners desk of very generous proportions. The large rectangular top has a faded leather writing surface, a crossbanded border and a reeded fore edge. Below this on the front is a long drawer with a leathered writing surface which is retractable and can be tilted. On either side are four short drawers with oak liners and original brass swan neck handles. The back side is the same as the front. The gables are polished and the desk is freestanding. All standing on eight tapering feet with a slight reeding. Solid, sturdy and functional.

With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
