Sn3269 Truly excellent Georgian, mahogany bureau of good proportions, having figured mahogany fall front which opens to reveal beautifully fitted interior pigeon holes, shaped drawers, small cupboard, secret drawers and green tooled leather writing surface, above 2 short and 3 long cockbeaded, graduated and oak lined drawers, all fitted with brass handles and escutcheons, flanked by reeded pilasters with string inlaid panels below, all standing on original ogee feet. This is a fine example of writing desk in fantastic condition throughout. c1780
