Circa 1775, neat sized mahogany George III bureau. The polished top over the original flap with stylish brass escutcheon opens to show a combination of various small drawers, a central cupboard with two secret compartments either side, and a polished writing surface. Beneath the top are 4 graduating drawers with cast brass handles with very stylish back plates and brass escutcheons. Beneath the bottom drawer is an ogee moulding and the whole piece stands on chunky bracket feet.
