A George III Chippendale style side table, with mahogany side cabinet and flame mahogany top which is cross banded. There is a wonderful three quarter wrap around open fretwork gallery which finishes with a slight taper at the front. There is an ogee moulding and then beneath there is a shelf. The shelf has the same fretwork at the front but at the sides is enclosed with large open fretwork in the form of various oval and circular shapes. It is typical of Chippendale style. The whole piece stands on 4 square legs at the front which are chamfered on the sides and the back again typical of the Georgian style.
