Circa 1740. A George II walnut bachelors’ chest. The top with mirror matched walnut, string inlay broad banding and a stylish moulded for-edge. With a configuration of four full length graduating drawers, with cast brass swan neck handles, with cut and engraved elegant shaped and back plates and escutcheons. The drawers have mirror match walnut and string inlay similar to the top. Beneath the bottom drawer there is a lovely simple moulding, resting on four bracket feet.
