Circa 1920, George II style walnut chest on chest with a polished top, stylish moulded cornice and triple barrel front. On the top there are four graduating drawers with wonderful cast brass handles and a lovely double beading between each of the drawers. This beading is also repeated on the fore edge from top to bottom. Between the top and bottom section there is also an unusual quadruple moulding which runs around the front and side of the chest. On the bottom are 3 graduating drawers and again with double beading around the drawers and on the fore edge. Beneath the bottom drawer is a simple ogee moulding and a shallow apron. The whole piece stands on four squat but elegant pad feet. Good colour and excellent condition.
