george ii style burr walnut tea table

Circa 1920, small burr walnut George II style double fold over tea table. The demi lune top has wonderful figured burr walnut and a rounded edge, opening to reveal a walnut interior which is also hinged and opens again to show a small storage compartment. Below the top on the front is a small escutcheon. There are shaped quarter blocks on each side of the front legs, and at the back on one side is a double leg on a solid walnut arm and hinge. The whole piece stands on 4 slender tapering legs finishing on a pad foot. Wonderful colour and excellent condition, very sturdy table.
