Gorgeous little 18th century George III Chippendale style free standing centre / occasional / silver table in Cuban mahogany. Square tapered legs termination in brass socket castors with barrel rollers. Nice shape fretted brackets all round with fretted gallery all round the top also. The table is finished all round thus can be free standing. It turns up beautifully underneath, nice and dry exactly as the day it was made. From underneath you can see the construction is early pegged mortice and tenon joints as the ends of all the pegs can be seen. The outside has then been veneered over with cross grain veneer.
