french oval bedside cabinet

Circa 1900, unusual French oval bedside cabinet, with a marble top and three quarter wrap around open fretwork brass gallery. Beneath the top there is a marquetry panels on both sides and on the front tambour door. There is an undershelf which has a three quarter wrap around brass gallery similar to the top and has a marquetry panel in the centre. The table is supported by four square tapering legs finishing on small squat brass blocks. Unusual and stylish piece.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
