This is a fine French parquetry and kingwood ormolu mounted antique bureau plat with leather top crossbanded in walnut. It has two drawers to the front with parquetry inlay and ormolu handles. It is freestanding with inlaid parquetry to the back and sides shaped upon supported on four elegant cabriole legs with ormolu mounts.
