FINE pair of mid 18th century George III Chippendale hand chairs of large, generous size. Made of solid red walnut, these are a lovely pair of Georgian chairs. Square legs united by stretchers, the back legs with "kick out" to the bottoms. The backs with nice shape top rail and lovely design pierced, fretted back splat. No damage, cracks or repairs to the splats. Both chairs are nice and tight. Very comfy.
