Circa 1890. Exhibition quality oak three door Aesthetic movement robe. Stylish carved cornice, front with three panel doors each with elegant cast brass and strap hinges, and elegant elongated escutcheon with cast brass lifting handle. The left-hand door opens to reveal an uninterrupted interior. The two doors on the right open to reveal a series of pull-out slides and a bank of three drawers. The panels on the gable of the wardrobe are similar to that of the doors. Beneath the bottom of the door there is further moulding and the whole piece stands on six squat feet with concealed casters beneath.
