Circa 1900, Edwardian adjustable beech barber’s chair. The back has a brass mechanism to tilt the chair backwards and a padded head rest with adjustable height. It has a fluted top rail and uprights and a leather covered vase shaped splat held in place by brass studs. The arm have padded elbows and shaped supports, and above a Thonet style embossed and serpentine fronted seat. All standing on slightly outswept back legs united by a turned stretcher, and turned legs at the front.
