Circa 1880, unusual stylish Dutch burr walnut side cabinet. The serpentine top has matching burr walnut veneers and shaped sides. Beneath the top are two serpentine doors with a reeded beading and two stylish brass escutcheons, and two panels framed in the Rococo style with proud beadings and foliate carvings. Below this is a shaped apron in the classic Dutch style. On either side is an unusual feature of a pair of semi circular drawers with brass handles. The whole piece stands four bold carved cabriole legs with carved knees finishing on ball and claw feet. Generous proportions, excellent colour and good condition.
