The beautiful mahogany veneer is inlaid with classical Urn & Instruments. On the crest above the door is a gilt bronze mount of two winged full body cherubs facing each other while holding onto a crown. Each front top corner is mounted with the head of Mercury in dark bronze & gold gilt ,all of the mounts are of the finest casting & so well defined with the richest smooth surface patina “just glorious“. The inside back of the interior is upholstered in pillow tufted original silk fabric in now faded crimson color. Inside is one adjustable glass shelf & a wood bottom shelf with room for an additional shelf & then an open cupboard space in the bottom. The quality of this curio cabinet is superb & the surface patina rich & full of life. Measuring 62 ½” High x 30” Wide x 14 ½” Deep.
