circular oak stick stand/umbrella stand

Circa 1890, wonderful circular oak stick stand/umbrella stand. The top circular bezel has a moulded edge and has two brass rods which cross over to form four sections. Beneath the top are four turned, fluted and carved uprights which have shaped quarter blocks. In the centre is a circular drip tray which has stretchers similar to the top. The base of the stand is tiered with several mouldings, and the whole piece stands on four squat bun feet. Good colour, excellent condition and very stylish.
